This Syrah has been fermented with natural yeast in an open stainless steel tank, than pressed and racked into French oak barrels (30% new oak) for malolactic fermentation and maturation for 16 months. A well structured wine with a distinct smokyness on the nose. Nice, soft tannins, good for cellaring and a great wine with hearty food.
